Well now the next step to finalize this is I have to create the special bonus actions messages that also appear when you win.

FOr example.
When the score is calculated, there are some bonus actions that if you achieve them, it will show them in the rank score screen.
Like:
First Attack
Super Combo Finish
Perfect Win

And stuff like that. So that is the final phase of the ranking screen, but lucky it is not as big a job as these last rank icons and i think i can finish it quickly in a few days if I am successful!

We have to code all of the now completed rank icons in and scale them correctly for 1080p, and test them in 4k and make sure they look deluxe,

And then after that, we have to code and design the last icing on the ranking cake, which is the special awards system messages for the ranking screen such as:

FIRST ATTACK
SUPER COMBO FINISH etc

and many more

so Into the temple we go, and by weeks end, we should have finally finished the rank screen so lets goooo

So as you may be aware, in the original add004 system update that was released last year, as what could potentially be the last version we ever get, there was a new low resolution results screen that used these:

So our task, will be to remove these, and recode and replace them with the new HD designed ones for 1080p and 2160p:

So that is the next step of course lol. Off to coding city it is.

Now the only downside to this system is, that I have found in my experience testing the code, is that depending on the character, Hyper combo finishes and special move finishes donot always get detected depending in the individual character and how it is coded, but Perfects and First attack is always noted.

Once its properly coded, this is the position where I roughly expect it to appear as per below

Well now you mention it, there certainly can be lol.
I did have something special planned for the top left and right bottom corner as a gap filler, but that will be the final touch.
I can definitely add and code some "results" text into there for sure.
Now back to business lol.
This is the next thing we need to fix - the old default low-res digits for the final score result

Will be changing these to an HD, much slicker font so it matches the Ranking letters on the Rank trophy plates.
Then we have to code it so it displays properly in HD etc lol.
So painful and fiddly but the end result will pay off lol.

So much fine detail indeed, now don't be suggesting more extra eye poping candy. My wallet is already broke.lol I will be washing dishes,cutting grass, cutting hair, washing cars for Mugen life. When he is finally completed this. But all jokes to the side, I think that's a awesome idea for results. Also, polishing up the fonts to match current hd fonts is smooth. Back to them mountains indeed man.

hahaha well luckily you dont have to worry too much about that man lol. Our original agreement still stands lol.
All the extra stuff that has gone into this outside our original agreement, is thanks to the funding of awesome bros like CancerManXIII, Lunalucard55, NK3s and Oxocube. Without them, theres no way we could have come this far! There's still plenty of fish left in the barrel lol
