Hey guys Idk whyyyyy i decided to just go right into the windows 11 Update as sooooon as that shit popped up on my screen lol i was just like fk it! I Saw it had a new interface and i like the look. But I know for a fact that it brought a new problem to my mugen because ever since I Upgraded I now have this new problem.

If i Minimize my mugen while it is in Native fullscreen Mode, It looks like this once i open it back up

and no matter what i do it doesnt go back to normal unless i reload the entire game which really sucks. Is Anyone Else having this problem with windows 11? Or do you guys think there is something else to this problem?

anybody know a fix?

*Further Info, When in windowed mode this does not happen, Only in native fullscreen. Honestly tho native fullscreen is my go to when im not streaming mugen and want to play Arcade runs :/

oh man, this makes me scared to upgrade.......
I wish i had a solution but i dont think my pc even will allow windows 11 because of my processor model is too old

i want windows 11 but now i worry.

I recommend waiting a while before upgrading to windows 11 guys, im running into issues that dont fully concern mugen but it can make doing edits and other lines or basic computing annoying. I'm sure its bugs that need to get worked out for instance things minimizing with you simply moving your mouse around happens everyonce ina while. Even the windows search bar does the same, Try to click the search to quick access a File, Bam Minimized and No lie...right now I literally cant access my start menu, it may or may not pop up with a click, But when it does appear as soon as i click something it just minimizes and ignores what i clicked on.
That shit aint let me type in the bar ever since it started happening lol only a restart will fix it apparently.

But long story short it definitely has its bugs and should probably wait till they're fixed before upgrading. And yes additional it makes your mugen Native fullscreen go stupid if you minimize it. Makes me wonder if its some minimizing bug, Hopefully thats wats affecting the mugen and will be fixed once they solve all that other shiz.

i remember when i updated from my windows 7 to my windows 8 there was a similar problem.
It was to do with software display drivers and something to do with OpenGL and the graphics card needed a setting changed inside its profile.
I will try and look it up and see if i can remember what it said.
All i remember is it was a simple fix

That video showed a bunch of problems i was having with windows 11 And i didnt even know it downgraded a ton of my drivers but it really did, Unfortunately though Upgrading them didnt fix the Screen Shifting issue from minimizing the game so Im downgrading back to windows 10.

Also Great news, After fully reverting back to windows 10 The problem with mugen have been fixed.

Before reverting i even did a full recent but it naturally went into windows 11 after the reset. I loaded up my mugen and the screen/Minimize problem remained. Once i fully went back to windows 10 everything was back to normal so It Definitely is something in windows 11 That didnt match up well with mugen but im extra glad I wont be dealing with it anymore cause it was really messing with my video capture process.

I just helped my father set up his new Windows 11 PC today.
it feels almost exactly the same as Windows 11 just things and buttons and tabs are in all dorts of different places.
it feels new but also weird in comparison.
Maybe I am just too used to Windows 10. I will have to try mugen on it and see what happens.
Maybe I will get the same bug ill let you all know

Thanks for the info! Now I know that I won't update to Win11, it never catch my attention by fears.
