Ok, I think I looped the animation a little better..?
I think i know what the problem was, I was missing frames at the end
and had one to many slow frames in the beginning
I also added the purple particles to the select screen per Genesis.
They look a little dim, should I make them brighter like a purple/pink?

About Jin, I did nothing to that Render that lighting is part of the render bro. I just set him there as a place holder.

yes recommend more Pendulum songs. I like Techno and House Music (& I go to a lot of the main EDM Festivals in the states) I'm not the biggest fan of Dubstep well some of it is just noises for the fuck of it or the same noises in a lot of the songs lol but this topic belongs in the Music section haha.
I know you guys want something hard I'll wil try and bring that in the music.
how about something like this, mainly the drops in this song i can loop or mess with it on virtual DJ. on 4:25 of the song listen to that and how it picks up.

The screenpack name, how about re-BIRTH? Then you could ask someone at Guild to translate that to Japanese then write the kanji in Paint, from that point, you can go crazy with the design!

This is shaping up very well, just keep on keeping it simple. Moving from one area to the next and soon you will see your way out. You could add a glow in the center in the back ground of the select screen. Something simple for as animations. I like you concept very much, please keep up the hard work. I like the ideas for the Japanese fonts but, keep it straight forward and funky. Peace:pirate:

If you want it more like Mark's suggestion, you could add some semi-transparent rectangular blocks moving around the place at different angles.


i think I know the problem man. With my ones, you HAVE TO have it at "ASxxD256"

Red value is up to your tweaking, but the blue value must remain 256 at all times with my renders (with the black backgrounds)

All right its been a bit since I've posted here.
I made the orbs and the auroras a tad bit darker purple so they matched the select screen.
so I found a way to create a Font Thanks to SXVECTOR for telling me about Unicode.
I made this font don't mind the color of it I will change I just put it there for feedback like,
Do you guys like the font?
How about the size or placement of the font?
should I put it behind the orbs and auroras (I think that's what there called) so it doesn't cover the renders,
and since the renders will be fading in and out you will still see it?

I've noticed that all your Png's have a ~orignal at the end of the format. Is that supposed to happen

the ~original thing is because I changed my options in photobucket so that it displays the original photo so it won't re-size it or change its format, after saving one of my own pngs from photo bucket i see it renamed it to png~original, that's photobucket being gay i suppose.

Yeah I'm still going to make the kanji look metallic bro.
I just put them up for feedback to see if you guys liked the font, I have a few other kanji styled fonts i'll post them later tonight will a video also.
I know it covers some of the art, but if I place it on the right hand side I will have to only put renders on the left hand side that's why I mentioned how about in the back of the auroras and orbs. I will try it tonight.

Maybe you could try looking at the Title screen of Tekken 6/TTT2. IMO the background "texture" doesn't look good.

That photoshop pattern is too recognizable and too obvious XD. And yes, aim something Tekken-ish inspired or Soul Calibur for that matter if that works for you.

That BG took me a whole 2mins to do LOL... I knew I should have said something about it.
That BG was only there so I could create the metallic font It was a step I was following from a tutorial.

I was gonna post the font with no BG but then you wouldn't be able to see the shadow.
so don't worry guys that texture bg won't be part of the screenpack :dealwithit:
Once I'm off work (in 6hrs crying) I will add some colors to match my menu and yeah animating that will be a Bitch!! I kinda want it to have a shinny effect what do you guys think??

Thanks for the tutorial yo, it'll come in handy. Funny thing is, I was actually thinking about watching a tutorial to learn some new font styles Cheesin

One idea I've got about the animation is you could do a fancy metallic flash/glare. It's hard to explain but I'm sure you've seen it many anime's where the title of the show does that glare in the intro lol

I know exactly what you mean Watta!
That's the shinny effect I was talking about I picked up a bunch of flare images to get an idea of how to do it
I will probably be watching some more tutorials on how to animate it.
I still gotta try and figure out were to place the Kanji in the Menu Angry

Perhaps you could make it smaller and place is slightly higher than where you had it before. You could put the menu buttons underneath it.
