A suggestion, why not try incorporating the portraits of the characters into the Versus screen? Since full body ports are already being used for the select screen wouldn't they be able to be implemented into the vs screen as well? Since it feels really empty at the moment.

It's a nice concept. I can't say I'm all for the scanning data idea since it reminds me of loading screens which I think in mugen are completely useless. I guess it all depends on how you implement it, though.

I agree on it not being much needed in mugen. Still I think about other actual fighting games that do use it. It's good for eye candy along and it's cool. Thanks for feed back Gl. If time permits, I might have this joker ready for the next team package.

Time to get the show back on the road. Here is a preview of the current regular version of origins. It's subject to change but, yeah it will feature the good old 120x140 select big port. Also, it will be big enough for Saikoro redefined big ports. It's in early stages but, I wip this up for the regular mugenist. No animation just yet, still building the layout. Also, the custom is still in the works. I have to make a start screen and winner screen for it. Game over and credits, let's not forget the life bars. :ball:

I know it's been a minute but, due to real life and other things that had taken place. I had to work as time was available to me, here is a small update. I still have plans to release 2 versions of this sp. one custom and one defaulted for 120x140 ports. Due to 1.1 not being complete and many folks having problems with png load up's. I'm sticking with my 1.0 and i like it that way. Keep in mind things are subject to change for the winner screen. The versus screen is completed but, need to place names. The select is also complete, might touch up on a few sprites. Here are the latest picks and please feed back is welcomed. Peace.

Looking great so far my friend, clean and organized set up!

Perhaps the overlay color can be toned down a bit? Over all the screenshots there's a deep dark blue layerno1 over everything, it fits but it could be a bit lighter IMO.

Thanks man but, that's funny you said that because here it's dark. Now over at guild the color is brighter.lol I don't know maybe it's the black bg here on the thread page itself. Well I guess I will post this latest info about life changes. How can I summed it up in a nut shell, I will abbreviate the words and you can figure them out. Bankruptcy,surgery,home burglarized,new house,new car,new job,GTAV and family.lol This is why all my activates have been on a long pause. Still, I was able to keep it together and figure I could not quit and go out like that. I got a new monitor and still have all my good old wips. Let me tell you I could write a book on my past year and current year life circumstances. Still we all have problems and have to deal with them the best way we can. Here is something small but, just to show my current progress on my last wip origins. Working on a game over screen, still searching for other ideas on it. Fire away and I hope no one was disappointed.
